JAMES ZORZI
FOUNDER
James Zorzi has been immersed in the building industry essentially his entire life - and for sixteen of those years he was at the heart of the Zorzi building legacy, primarily in design project management, working on some of Perth’s most iconic and prestigious homes. His approach - calm, knowledgeable and thoroughly prepared - fosters the trust and confidence clients undertaking a project of this scale genuinely need. As founder of Moduchi, James leads a new business with that same depth of experience and refusal to compromise. He brings particular strength to the design and pre-construction phases, guiding clients through the complexity of approvals, documentation and design development with the expertise of someone who has navigated it all before, many times over.
DR KENNY LIM
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Dr Kenny Lim’s career has been built on a simple belief: that the quality of an outcome is a direct reflection of the quality of the people and systems behind it. With a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering alongside degrees in both Commerce and Engineering, Kenny brings an uncommon combination of technical rigour and commercial discipline to everything he leads. Through Mettris Construction, where he continues to serve as Managing Director, and the broader Kuraland group, he has delivered complex, high-value projects across the commercial, residential and mixed-use sectors. At Moduchi, Kenny’s role is to ensure the infrastructure, the systems and the team are equal to the standard the Zorzi family has always held.
ERIC ZORZI
DIRECTOR
Few people understand quality residences more intimately than Eric Zorzi. Following the retirement of his father, Corrado Zorzi, in the early 1980s, Eric - alongside his brother Walter - built Zorzi Builders into Perth’s preeminent luxury builder and the benchmark others aspired to. Across more than thirty-five years as a Director he was deeply involved in site management, supervision, and the coordination and management of trades and suppliers on some of the most prestigious residential projects this state has seen. The family sold that business in 2018. At Moduchi, Eric is a Director, bringing a wealth of on-site knowledge and operational experience that is simply irreplaceable.
AHMAD ALBADRI
GENERAL MANAGER & NOMINATED SUPERVISOR
Ahmad Albadri came to construction through design - and that background clearly shapes how he approaches a build. Having trained as an interior designer and worked with leading firms across the Middle East and Western Australia before moving into construction management, Ahmad brings something most General Managers cannot: a genuine aesthetic sensibility combined with twenty years of deep technical and operational knowledge. He understands both what a space should feel like and exactly what it takes to build it properly. At Moduchi, Ahmad is responsible for the operational excellence that sits behind every client relationship and every project - holding himself and the team to the standard this business was founded on.
GAVIN YOUNG
DIRECTOR OF SALES
Thirty-seven years in Western Australia’s luxury residential market has given Gavin Young one conviction above all else: the relationship matters more than the transaction. Gavin first worked alongside the Zorzi family during the 1990s and now joins them at Moduchi, bringing decades of experience and trusted relationships. His career has spanned property, construction and real estate from the ground up, including founding and leading another luxury residential building company and delivering homes for an international client base of prominent Australian and South-East Asian families.
